The Retail Aggregation Program allows businesses to qualify for retail electricity and access renewable energy through aggregation
The Retail Aggregation Program (RAP) allows two or more electricity end-users to combine their demand and qualify as a single contestable customer, enabling businesses that do not individually meet the required threshold to participate in the retail electricity market.
Businesses whose combined demand reaches at least 500 kW monthly energy demand may qualify and access the Retail Competition and Open Access (RCOA) framework, allowing them to contract directly with a licensed supplier while continuing to receive electricity through their existing distribution utility.
By qualifying through RAP, businesses gain access to retail electricity and can work with providers like ACEN RES to source 100% renewable energy as part of their electricity supply.
